This is a blood test that looks for immunoglobulin E, or IgE, antibodies directed at raspberry proteins. IgE antibodies are part of the immune response that can trigger allergy symptoms. The test is used along with your history and a physical exam, not by itself.

  • Raspberry-specific IgE — reflects the amount of allergic antibody directed at raspberry proteins
